Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it in whole or part, other than for your own personal use, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Bradford Bakers & Gifts. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.
Accuracy of Content
Bradford Bakers & Gifts has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Packaging may vary from that shown. The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Wine vintages and labels may vary from those shown. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website, however as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bradford Bakers disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. Bradford Bakers & Gifts shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.
Bradford Bakers offers a next day delivery to mainland UK for orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday. Please note that this is not a guaranteed service. Timed and Saturday deliveries are available at an additional charge to most areas within mainland UK. The date and time of delivery shall not be the essence of the contract and any failure by us to make delivery on any particular date shall not entitle the customer to refuse the delivery or to claim for any expenses, loss of profits or other consequential losses whatsoever. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on receipt of payment and dispatch of the goods. We will notify you if we are unable to deliver to your chosen delivery address on a timed or Saturday service. Orders placed on Saturday will be delivered on the following Tuesday and we regret that we cannot guarantee delivery times. Please ensure you therefore enter the correct delivery date having read through the conditions of sale and delivery. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. Once Bradford Bakers & Gifts have dispatched the goods to DPD for UK deliveries or UPS & DPD for Worldwide deliveries, our chosen third party courier, we cannot be held responsible for any failure on their part to deliver on your chosen date. Failure to meet a Timed or Saturday delivery will result in an automatic refund of the delivery charge to you.
Please note that orders placed after the cut off time for a next working day delivery or after the cut off time for your specified delivery date will be delivered as quickly as is possible but they will incur a delay.
Orders for next working day delivery need to be placed by 4.00 pm the day before. Orders for delivery Monday need to be placed by 4.00 pm the preceeding Friday. Orders for delivery Tuesday following a bank holiday need to be placed by 4.00 pm the preceeding Friday. Please note that deliveries are not possible on bank holidays such orders if placed will be delivered on the closest working day prior to the bank holiday if ordered prior to the last cut off of 4.00 pm the preceeding day. Orders placed for a bank holiday after the last cut off of 4.00 pm will be delivered within 2 working days following the bank holiday. Same day delivery is not possible.
Delivery dates can be specified at the time of order excluding Sundays & Bank Holidays.
It is the Customers responsibility to ensure all delivery address/details for the recipient given are correct, Bradfords Bakers & Gifts Ltd cannot accept any responsibility or costs for non delivery to the intended recipient or losses in such circumstances.
On the day of delivery of your gift, DPD couriers will attempt to deliver on our behalf between 8.30am and 6pm. If no one is home to sign for the delivery, DPD will return the delivery to their depot, local to the delivery address and leave a 'Called Today Card' through the letterbox. It is not possible to leave any delivery with a neighbour or on the doorstep (Delivery to flats please see next paragraph) It is the recipients responsibility to make contact same day by calling the phone number on the 'Called Today Card' to re-deliver the gift on another day (Saturday excluded charges would apply).Bradfords Bakers & Gifts Ltd cannot accept responsibility or costs for deliveries where the recipient has not initiated contact with DPD Courier services to deliver their delivery , this remains wholely the responsibility of the recipient. Bradford Bakers & Gifts STRONGLY recommend that the sender advises the recipient to expect a delivery.
Delivery to flats. In some flats please be aware that tenants will sign and receive mail or deliveries for neighbours. You should be aware of this when placing an order for delivery. If a delivery has not arrived on time it is likely that a neighbour has accepted and signed for a delivery on the recipients behalf. Please therefore check with neighbours.
Ensuring that the recipient is going to be at the delivery address, on the day of delivery, remains the responsibility of the sender. Bradfords Bakers & Gifts Ltd can not accept responsibility or costs incurred in such circumstances ie. holiday etc.
For orders where a third party will accept and sign for the delivery on the recipients behalf i.e. a hospital, airport, college, university, workplace, secure housing with a doorman etc. the signature of any person authorised to accept a delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery. Bradfords Bakers & Gifts Ltd suggests that the sender takes the time to inform any such third party to expect their delivery prior to placing an order to ensure there is no delay in the recipient receiving their gift.
Delivery to USA, Canada and areas outside the European Union may be subject to import duty which may be levied by the appropriate customs authorities within these countries and is outside our control. Any such duty will billed to the recipient and failure to pay this duty could result in non delivery Bradfords Bakers & Gifts cannot be held responsible in this situation.
Bradfords Bakers & Gifts Ltd can not accept responsibility for any consequential loss incurred as the result of a delay in delivery by DPD Couriers due to adverse weather conditions or accident. Where damage has occurred due to such delay a replacement will be dispatched to the recipient. Any damages must be notified to our customer services team with photographic evidence provided for such damage and acknowledgement of your complaint will be made by email.. Any damaged products including all packaging must be kept to enable the courier service to inspect this packaging should they wish to do so and failure to keep all contents and packaging will result in no refund being given. If the items are consumed no refund will be available no exceptions..

Gift Tag Service messages and Chocolate Plaque Service
The Gift Tag Service & Chocolate Plaque Service is for your own personal and non-commercial use. You agree that any messages posted by you on your gift tag or sent by us on your behalf to a third party will not contain anything which could be construed as harassing, threatening, vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist or which may cause embarrassment or distress to any person that are otherwise unlawful or objectionable. You also agree that you will not impersonate any person. You are entirely responsible for any text or other material which you post or send on this message system and Bradford Bakers & Gifts accepts no liability for any such content. We do not pre-screen messages but may monitor content from time to time. We have the right to refuse to send or display messages at any time and without liability to you.

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘submit’ on the final page of our ordering process.
Delivery charges vary depending on the type of products ordered and the service you select and cannot be refunded.
Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order
If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and email you again to confirm details. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product's ordered.
Under the Distance Selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods except for the supply of goods made to the your specifications or clearly personalised or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly ie food hampers, cupcakes, birthday cakes as per 13(c) of the distance selling regulations and products which have be opened or have date expired while in your possession. Customer services must be informed prior to you returning any items and you must arrange for your own courier to return the goods. The goods must be returned in a satisfactory condition.
For hamper orders, in the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute goods or packaging of equal quality and value.
Restrictions on Purchase
Where the order concerns:
a. The sale of liqueur chocolates you confirm that you are over the age of 18.
b. The sale of alcohol, you confirm that you or the recipient of an alcohol gift are over the age of 18.
Exclusions of Liability
Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms & conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Bradford Bakers & Gifts or any of its employees or agents or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Changes to Legal Notices
We reserve the right to change these terms & conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.

Unless otherwise specified, the materials on this website are directed solely at those who access this website from the United Kingdom.

Law, Jurisdiction and Language
This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Scotland. All contracts are concluded in English.
