PO Box and BPO Addresses
Unfortunately we can’t accept orders to addresses containing a PO Box number
or armed forces BPO addresses.
Customs Charges
It is always possible that Customs in countries outside of the European
Union eg. USA & Canada may add additional duties or charges, which we have no
control over. The charges would be applied in the receiving country, so we
cannot predict or influence what they may be. The recipient is responsible for
paying these charges should they arise.
Hospital Addresses, Flats & Student Accommodation
Delivery to flats. In some flats please be aware that
tenants will sign and receive mail or deliveries for neighbours. You should be
aware of this when placing an order for delivery. If a delivery has not arrived
on time it is likely that a neighbour has accepted and signed for a delivery on
the recipients behalf. Please therefore check with neighbours.
Ensuring that the recipient is going to be at the delivery address, on the
day of delivery, remains the responsibility of the sender. Bradfords Bakers &
Gifts Ltd can not accept responsibility or costs incurred in such circumstances
ie. holiday etc.
For orders where a third party will accept and sign for the delivery on the
recipients behalf i.e. a hospital, airport, college, university, workplace,
secure housing with a doorman etc. the signature of any person authorised to
accept a delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of
delivery. Bradfords Bakers & Gifts Ltd suggests that the sender takes the time
to inform any such third party to expect their delivery prior to placing an
order to ensure there is no delay in the recipient receiving their gift.
